UPDATE: Had a 9:20 tee time on a Saturday. Pace of play was EXCELLENT!! As with the previous reviews, hardly saw anyone...no groups in front that we saw, and only saw the group behind us starting on #16 (they were on the tee box when we were exiting the green). The fairways are holding up great--nice and green. Because of the recent rains, it looks like they haven't cut the fairways or rough--both were a tad shaggy, but certainly playable. The course was a little "damp" in places, but not a distraction. Greens were excellent and running very nicely...and very consistent. Management at Oak Creek seems to really care about the customer experience--the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they want your feedback.

Great track. Staff is friendly and helpful. Greens are in great shape. Pace of play was outstanding. Never saw anyone in front or behind us with a 10:30 Tee Time on Saturday. Great value.

Played this course twice in the past 3 weeks. I really like the layout--lots of variety in hole shape and risk/reward and easy holes, and nice facilities (great clubhouse with excellent restaurant, and practice facility). They have been doing some needed work, i.e., fixing cart paths, laying sod, installing some irrigation on 1 or 2 holes, and recently aerated. Additionally, the fairways are bermuda, so are still dormant and a tad slick, so be careful your club doesn't slide through (or off) the ball. I'm not sure what they are going to do about the pricing--right now, it's running $65 on a weekend; however, last year's rates were $85/weekday and $115/weekend. With all due respect, this course simply isn't worth that. But, the $65 is certainly okay for the weekend. I'm anxious to try it during the Summer months when the bermuda is grown in. Extremely nice staff--in pro shop and restaurant--and they genuinely seem to be happy to see you. Today, we had a 12:10 tee time and let a twosome play through, but never saw a soul after #5. It was like we had the entire course to ourselves, and that's unusual in our area for a nice Saturday. I don't think people know about this course yet. This is the first year Oak Creek is in the Tee Time Book, as well. Give it a try...just understand it's early in the season, they are doing some maintenance and repairs, and the grass still hasn't grown in.
